Educational Cooperation

Based on the current status of international education, China’s education is being vigorously promoted to integrate with other quality education systems in the world. PEAL adheres to the principles of openness, transparency and direct interconnection, and actively encourages New Zealand education institutions to sign cooperation agreements with Chinese education institutions directly, hoping to further promote the development of international education.

Cooperation Institution in Running Schools

PEAL will address the needs of the tertiary education institutions of both New Zealand and China.
New Zealand tertiary education institutions and Chinese tertiary education institutions in establishing cooperation institution in running schools, within the territory of China, to provide the education services mainly to Chinese students in the following modes (but not limited to):
1. The Postgraduate Level
    3 years + 0 / 2 years + 1 years

2. The Undergraduate Level
    4 years + 0

3. The Diploma Level
    3 years + 0

Cooperation Program in Running Schools

PEAL would like to assist New Zealand tertiary education institutions to develop the cooperation program in running schools with Chinese tertiary education institutions, within the territory of China, to provide the education services mainly to Chinese students  in the following modes (but not limited to):
1. The Postgraduate Level
    1.5 years + 0 / 2 years +0

2. The Undergraduate Level
    4 years + 0

3. The Diploma Level
    3 years + 0

Pathway Programs / Credit Recognition

Pathway programs also qualify for credit recognition. PEAL can assist New Zealand tertiary education institutions and Chinese tertiary education institutions in establishing cooperation pathway programs.

For example, 3 years + 1 year + 1 year pathway program. The students who have completed three years of undergraduate level study at Chinese tertiary education institutions (3years) can apply to complete a further academic year of undergraduate study (+1year) at New Zealand tertiary education institutions (The program students must meet the New Zealand tertiary education institution’s English language and academic entry requirements before starting the first year of study in New Zealand) (Chinese tertiary education institutions recognize the credits gained by the students of New Zealand tertiary education institutions and issue the relevant degree certificates). The students can then progress into a Master Degree (+1year) at New Zealand tertiary education institutions (The program students must meet the New Zealand tertiary education institution’s Master academic entry requirements before starting the second year of Master study in New Zealand) (The students will get the Master Degree issued by New Zealand tertiary education institutions).

Credit Transfer / Pathway Courses

PEAL can assist New Zealand private education institutions to design their credit transfer courses, which are also defined as pathway courses. PEAL will also work with New Zealand state level tertiary education institutions with the credit transfer courses to assist the students to choose the most efficient way to enrol into New Zealand state level tertiary education institutions.
